The Ajenza Sargam Notation Writer lets you notate a composition the way Indian classical musicians do — in sargam, using Bhatkhande conventions. Type the swaras (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni), mark komal with lower case, tivra Ma with a lower-case m, and octaves with an apostrophe or a dot, then group them into taal beats with spaces and bar lines. The sheet updates live with underlines for komal, a mark for tivra, octave dots, beat-grouping lines and your lyrics aligned beneath. Set your Sa and tempo and hear it played back, then export a clean printable sheet (print to PDF), a PNG image, or a MIDI file for any DAW or notation program. What notation does it use?
Bhatkhande-style sargam — swaras grouped into taal beats, komal shown underlined, tivra Ma with a mark above, octaves with dots above or below.
